AGE: Hirer and/or appointed driver must be between 23 and 70 years of age. The hirer must also be in possession of proper means of identification other than a driving license. Self drive cars are hired subject to the company’s standard form of agreement. Not withstanding the above condition, the company reserves the right to refuse hire.

DRIVING LICENSE: Hirer and/or appointed driver must have held a driving license for at least 2 years and the driving license must bear no current endorsement during the past 2 years. A driving license from the country of residence or any international drivers permit is generally acceptable, provided valid as above.

DEPOSIT: Full  payment of the period of hire and for the estimated distance is to be made when taking over the car in addition to payment of insurance excess. Where required by CL&R, an acceptable guarantee shall  be given. It is an offence to keep the vehicle beyond the agreed dates and the company may at anytime after the agreed date of return, repossess the vehicle and may institute further legal action against the Hirer at the Hirer’s cost. A full  tank of fuel is provided at the beginning of the hire and the vehicle must be returned with a
full  tank.

INSURANCE: The vehicle is insured for Third Party Act only and the customer is liable for the excess premium depending on the vehicle. Note that damage to the vehicle or loss by fire and theft or any material damage such as windscreens, broken windows, damage/loss of tyres and tools is the responsibility of the Hirer and not covered above.

IMPORTANT: The vehicle shall  be used  only on all  weather roads. The renter will  be surcharged for all  damages, repairs and towing resulting from the use of the vehicle on unsurfaced roads including damage to rims and tyres.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT VEHICLE IS PARKED IN A SECURE PLACE AND LOCKED AND ANY INSTALLED ANTI-THEFT DEVICE IS UTILIZED.
